New fan to replace Volcano 6+cu

I put my computer together this time last year, and I purchased a Volcano 6 cu+. It works fine, but it's too loud. What other fan should I look at getting that's in a normal price range?

well, you can buy an adopter and use a 80mm fan, or for a few more dollars, just get a gc68 at svc.

My Volcano 6+cu is driving me crazy as well. Is there some way I could turn it down? I figure that I can try running it at half speed because my temperature is consistently around 50-60 degrees Celsius for case and fan.

I'm running an Athlon XP 2000+ and the GC68 claims to be rated til 1800+.

On the other hand, this claims to run at 24 db.
