cloth doesn't deep fry from my experience when I worked at a restaurant and tried deep frying pretty much anything I saw to see what happened lol

It would if you battered it first. Plenty of things don't deep fry well, so they slather them first and then toss 'em in. Bet you wish you'd thought of that then?

The deep fried butter isn't really new....been around for a few years at fairs. But not as popular as the deep fried Snickers bars.

But most of you are right...they'll try deep frying anything. Personally, I'm waiting for someone to deep fry the Oreo filling....the sugared lard found between the cookies.

make it garlic & herb butter, with a corn-encrusted breading, deep-fried, then wrapped with bacon.

wrapped with a pancake or, for the health conscious, a crepe.
