One lady on the right had significant burn scarring of her face but they only marked it as an example of advanced aging of the skin. Kind of silly.

Happens in Hollywood, too.

I wasn't aware there was any drug that could make you transform from Hayden Panettiere into Lindsay Lohan.

Knowing what we know about meth, why would anyone even get on it?

Chasing the high I guess. I remember listening to David Cross discussing the one time he tried crack and how amazing the high was and really the only reason he did not just stay there all day and do more crack was because he had a gig to do.

I guess he realized afterwards that crack was not conducive to a good career, so never did it again, but he never forgot how awesome it felt. I imagine those with nothing going on in their lives just keep getting high to escape and because it feels awesome.

Those aren't the same person. One is Hayden, the other is The Lohan.

*late on this one lol*

"I'll just try it once. I'm sure I won't get addicted."

Drugs really aren't like that at all. You will find that pretty much all addicts use to escape something in their lives, be it a painful childhood or whatever. I did meth for about a year off and on with my ex. I would certainly not recommend it and it is the harshest drug of them all that I have done, which is all but heroin.

Many of the people I knew who did it are dead now and we're not even in our 40's yet, or at least they wouldn't be if they were still alive. I never smoked it, just snorted and I have allergies so after a few days I'd have to stop. Thank God because after a few days of not eating and using that stuff the world becomes a much different place. I mean I have done heavy amounts of LSD and I've never hallucinated like I did on meth.

Audible hallucinations, seeing shadow people, being sketched out; I just don't see the appeal to it at all. I guess what I am trying to say is that meth is some super nasty shit so if you ever get the chance to do it, don't. Even if you are a non-addictive personality like me, it still has some severely nasty side effects.

Nice. Adword at the top is referring me to a rehab place when I view this thread.

Think it depends how far into it you are, I know a couple people that were pretty far gone and got clean but were never the same again.

any non meth head can have bad pictures taken of them. this is just a silly little DARE type thang. frankly, half those people looked like retards in their before pictures.

disclaimer for idiots: not saying meth addicts are generally healthy or intelligent.
