On a related note, I am disappoint that this board seems to eat Unicode Emoji when I post them.

New emoticons are easy enough to add. But keep in mind that they need to be something that we have permission to use.

Can't someone load :beer: into paint, change the color of ten pixels, then claim it as their own? Call it a parody, that's basically bulletproof.

Meh, free beer is easy to get. I found a free (as in beer and speech) beer icon years ago.

Public domain? Yeah that would work. Shrink it down to 18x18 and it would be the right size.
