any one notice the trend that New Egg is following? Thursday night, early Friday Morning they were selling the A8R32 Asus boards for $229.00 USD Now their price is up to $249.00 Everytime i look at a product i think i want to buy from them, a week later the price goes up. I think New Egg is getting REALLY Greedy with there pricing and I do NOT like that. SHAME ON YOU NEW EGG

P.S. This is not the first piece of merchandise from Gouge Egg ive seen climb in price while other places prices stay the same.
 
Price fluctuations are a fact of life, but what I despise is when retailers increase the price of an item over a couple of days, then decrease it to its original price and call it a "sale." :|
 
It's too bad they've kidnapped your mommy and are forcing you to shop there 🙁 🙁

FYI, Newegg buys parts from distributors and manufacturers, then adds a markup. If the price they pay goes up, the price they charge you goes up.
 
im a newb? get over it? then you spend the extra dollars and be gouged. I suppose you buy gas on the highest day to and just say "o well supply and demand" or rather with your all posting experience give me the extra dollars, yeah how does your amount of posts make you reply such a condesending remark to a rally for a just cause

Yes, if I happen to need gas when it's priciest I say Oh well. I dont post on Anandtech then cry myself to sleep thinking Chevron is out to get me.

You don't have to buy from Newegg, learn economics or go cry somewhere else.
 
Not an issue to most IMO - just buy it at a good price or wait till it comes down to a good price, if you need it sooner then pay the premium
