New Egg Trusted?

Hey Guys,

I am going to be building my new rig now and am going to be ordering all of the parts from Newegg and zipzoomfly.
I don't have a credit card and plan on using my debit card for all of the purchases. I don't think my debit card has the coverage when you buy something over the internet so if they don't send me the parts I am out $900. So my question is can I trust newegg and zipzoomfly to send me the parts I ordered?

Both of those companies are very reputable. Your problem may occur when you send your debit account info over the internet and it is picked off by someone else. If you do not feel safe then at the very least phone in your order.

Get ready to duck and run for cover. You'll soon see that most people think Newegg rules. To answer your question, I've spent a about $2,000 with them a few dollars at a time and have never had a problem.

I bought everything from them to put together a new PC. Everything was shipped fine and nothing was missing or broken. I'd trust 'em with my kidneys.

Those two sites are some of the better ones that can be trusted. If you can't trust these two sites, then you can't trust any of them.

I have been dealing with Newegg for about five years. I've spent thousands of dollars with them. I've only had to return two things b/c they were defective and I had NO problems at all.

They are most often the cheapest place around, especially when you count the free shipping they have on about 75% of their items. THey ship fast and I've never had a billing problem. I.E. they charged me twice for an item.

Even if someplace else has it cheaper, if it's within $5 or so, i'll buy from Newegg anyway, just b/c I know they are totally good to go. You are very safe dealing with them.

I've purchased from Zipzoomfly (formerly Googlegear.com) about 6 times and have had no probs with them either. I did have a defective stick of Corsair, and I had to deal directly with Corsair on that. (prob solved very satisfactorilly, btw)

Both companies are worth your hard-earned money, IMO.

both excellent companies...in fact, Newegg has bent over backwards to correct an RMA problem I had a few months ago. Refunded me shipping $$ and sent me a box of free goodies. Both thumbs up.

Newegg works well for me. Since the warehouse is pretty near from my residence, stuff normally reach by the next day - consistently.

New Egg replaced my Mobo, HD, Fan Control, and video card (even gave me a Rev2 of my a7n8x deluxe) all brand new in Retail packaging, ended up getting 2 copies of my games with my video card (over $50 worth), New Egg has great shipping via FedEx and they have the best RMA policy ever, buy all your goods from them and you will not regret doing business with them

I've spent over 10K between the two in the last few years and would not hesitate to deal with them at any time.

I've been using Newegg now for the past few months since I built my rig. I've purchased many items now from Newegg and even RMA'd a couple items back. They responded very quick. Newegg I feel has the best prices and customer service anywhere. Their RMA policy is the best and they have the fastest shipping bar none! I've used my debit card for all of my purchases. I trust them that much and have had no problems at all so far. Newegg just rocks!

I've bought a crapload from them... definitely a great place to buy parts from. They ship fast, they ship fedex, and they have great prices and gifts too... (I.E. I bought a laptop hard drive for a client, recieved 5 free dvd-r's... and now I bought a burner and recieved 5 more... how kickass is that?)

Pretty much sums it up

let say newegg is backed by a company that did a billion dollars in sales. (newegg, NUtrend, ABS Computer)

2 thumbs up here.

I've never had a wrong part sent to me yet, and I've been ordering from them for 3 years now. Motherboards, memory, video cards, HSFs, HDDs, PSUs...alot of $ spent and not a wrong part came to me as of today(Just got my order of a 9800 pro and (2) 512 MB PC3200 memory).

I like them mainly, though, for their RMA process....IMHO, it's excellent. Hope this helps.

newegg has actually come a long way since ~jan 2001 when they first showed up... 3 years from just a nobody to being the arguably the most popular site to buy stuff from...
