Great deal for some space. Bummer I pd $10 more last week.....BUT got $18 & $3.30 back from Paypal and Live.

My total was $68.69.....yes, I'm net-bragging :laugh:.
 
I would be in for two, except I jumped on the newegg/paypal Seagate 1.5TB deal - 2 for <$220. They're running great. Still almost jumped at this one though. With a utility downloaded from hitachi, these make for great backup drives (run cooler and slower and quieter)

In for one. I, like Marm, decided prices aren't going to fall for 1TB drives for a while.

I don't think prices will drop until larger drives come out. It'll probably be a while till we see drives bigger than 1.5TB.

You can also get them in a combo with a 0.5m SATA Rt Angle cable here if you need spares.
The strange thing is they are $2 after $5 combo discount, but when you buy 2 you get an additional discount making them $0.50 each. Pretty nice.

I need to make sure i have a sata cable
 
The only thing is that these are the older kind and not the 'B' version at least according to Tomshardware. The older ones produced more heat and may be more susceptible to failure.
The price however makes it very inviting.
