I dunno how hot this is you guys tell me but I orded myself two sticks. It is actually OEM but I called newegg to confirm that it has a lifetime warranty (on the website it says it does) and the rep checked with his boss to confirm that it does indeed have lifetime warranty. Free PEN !!! (GASP)

For that price I can afford to get twice as much as I would if I had gotten ocz/geil so I went for it.

There are also some 256mb sticks of it as well.

good ram is entirely way too overrated as far as system performance....i would get this if i needed ram as long as there is a lifetime warranty.

is this ram any good?

Thanks for the link - according to the forums at overclockers.com some people found adata ram that made it to close to around 300MHz - if this is the same stuff this is a very hot deal for overclockers

Anandtech did a review on it not that long ago.

If i remember correctly Adata was fast in super pi and int but not so hot on the gaming performance (relatively) but the difference is really so miniscule that it doesnt matter.

A gig of anything else at these speeds is easily 100 dollars more.

Thanks to everyone who appreciated the heads up. Sorry for the lack of a link it was my virgin hot deal post and it was done from campus between classes w00t.

512mb sticks are OOS!
There are still some 256mb sticks for 53 bucks a piece. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-211-122&depa=0

Did you buy it? Recently ram prices have jumped more than some stocks after an IPO

The 512mb ddr500 i have handle 268 fsb at 2.5v

My processor is holding me back from going farther. I am confident itll go 275 at 2.6 havent even found the end of its range at 2.5

The ram is nothing hot. If you plan on oc'ing this is not for you.

I just picked up 512MB (2x256 sans the heatsink) of Adata PC4000 in the FS/FT forum. It overclocks as well as my OCZ PC4000EL Gold, albiet with looser timings. To tell you the truth, I can't tell the difference when I'm playing FarCry with all the eye candy on.

At $53 & $96 repectively, this was a steal.

256mb is now $61 shipped. Still a good deal.

The 512MB sticks are back in stock at Newegg and the price is now $121 + $5 shipping for the 512MB sticks. :Q
