New dsl modem/router + wifi router: now I can't view shared folder

I switched to DSL and now have a strange file sharing issue. I was sent a westell modem with router and wifi built in and hooked it up to my buffalo 802.11g router in this config:

WESTELL ROUTER (wifi disable) --> Buffalo Router---> Media server (ethernet), laptops (wifi), xbox 360 (powerline)

Now my xbox 360 / ps3 or laptops can't find my media server, and the only thing that's changed is the westell modem/router.

I'm guessing I need to disable the routing features of the westell and use it purely as a modem- anyone know what this setting would be called?

Thanks!
