I refuse to buy Dove prodcuts beacuse of their advertising... I HATE their commericals where all the girls have long straight blonde wigs on then throw them off in saying that "blondes" are bad blah blah blah. Sure, not everyone is the same, but it pisses me off. Apparently, BLONDES are not real beauty. :roll:

anyway, these are your average women in today's day and age. they aren't huge but they aren't skinny either. if you want to see models, go to vogue, playboy, seventeen, whatever... i think the goal of these ads is not to cause anorexia and bulimia as people aspire to look "good" like models that they see in everyday ads. (apparently there was a news article on it. i missed it.)
what would you prefer? a picture of an emaciated nicole richie and lindsay lohan or someone with meat on her body?
it's brilliant that this soap company is aiming their ads at fat women.

i never said I was outraged...and I seriously have not seen the ad that was posted above...all ive seen is this one...that has a very large girl on it.....larger than most in that picture
I know you're joking, but some people buy into the crap that normal women aren't supposed to be thin.

not me.
i don't watch porn too often. i don't usually care about the looks of my girlfriend as long as they care about their bodies and don't just eat and get massive. breast size doesn't matter to me either but there has to at least be something there. and believe me my girl takes very good care of herself and also doesn't have massive boobs but she's still the most beautiful girl i've ever met. silly ultimatebob, ATOT stereotypes are for kids! :laugh:

I saw those when I was in Boston. I just loved how some stations would have 8000 of those ads right next to each other... Did they think we would miss jut one or two, and felt the need to cover every available wallspace with the same exact ad?
