Looks cool. I cant bring myself to try portrait mode. With my eyefinity setup I am very happy with landscape right now. If I didnt have to redo the damn mounts I would give it a go. I cant see myself having the bezels so close to the action. As it is now the two side panels are for my periphery. My gave for the most part is fixed to the center panel The sides when playing BC2 are to see whos trying to get the drop on me. What the hell ill try portrait tomorrow.

That setup does look tight. Cant see many people springing for that many panels though.

it is very niche, but it brings the aspect ratio down to something a little more comfortable fovea-wise. the 3 center screens are close to a normal 16:10 (3*portrait ~ 19:10) field of view, and the outer screens extend the peripheral just enough (5*portrait ~ 31:10) without getting the shearing distortion that sometimes happens with 3*landscape (48:10). I just like the extra vertical pixels.

probably only really affordable with the new dell 23" e-ips on sale (5*$230) though the bezels aren't slim.

I just really like the idea of 3:1 aspect ratio. It makes gaming and watching video so much easier. But until oled 2.39:1 2k digital cinema panels are available, this is the only option.
