as to emoticon usage ... you will get a *confession* 😛
as a writer, i feel very restricted by the strict structuring of our written languages and to convey *thought* requires a lot of 'explanation' ... in a very formal manner ,,,
'this' is more of a 'short cut' ... an informal way to write like we speak
and i just enjoy slaughtering English
:Q
you *get* what i mean :light: 😕
ALSO ... ATF is very *limited* in our choices .... compared to modern forums:lips:
... so i am forced to reuse emoticons over-and-over
and "thanks" for explaining your DHS Ranch thing
BACK ON Topic
Revision A-13
the more they say nothing is *wrong* the more they SLIP that there IS something really wrong and that they are *lost*

Conversely theres an article on vr-zone saying ~40 vec4 but 64 vec4 sounds a bit more realistic.

To get a 512mb memory config, G80 would need to have only 4 of 6 ROP blocks activated (each ROP block addresses 128mb of memory). This doesn't sound like a very good idea for something that will probably need to be very strong in AA/AF @ high res (if it is to perform comparably to "normally SLI'd G80's and compete with R600) to me...
