Well, my PC that was about 5 finally died on me over the weekend. I'm looking to build a new one and was hoping to get some input on the following components regarding compatability, etc. Please keep in mind this is the first one I'll have built from the ground-up, so be gentle--I'm sure there are plenty of things I haven't considered yet. Looking to keep it at/around $2000, don't need a monitor or speakers...here's what I'm thinking so far.

Any help or insight that can be given is much appreciated! : )

Currently I've got a 19" LCD (1680x1050). However, I'm putting the finishing touches on my theater room so I may well wind up hooking this up to my 1080p PJ to play on the 120" screen.

Okay. That's understandable then the desire to go with some type of SLI setup. Overall, it looks pretty good. I don't know if going with the quad-core is good use of money, but the rest looks fine.

Maybe something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817194022
It has 28A on both 12V rails, which would provide enough to run dual 8800GTS and the 650W should be enough for your setup since it is a good PSU. You might want to ask in general hardware what a good PSU would be though since this tends to be a slower forum and few to no PSU questions come through here.
