Im in the market for a new PC desk, Im having a hard time finding a normal sized non corner desk WITHOUT a stupid keyboard tray. I hate them with a passion as they barely fit a regular keyboard and never both a KB and Mouse. Anyone have any ideas where to find something, $200 price range?

I dont need a hutch or anything just a nice sized expansive top for a monitor or 2 and the keyboard and mouse on it as well. It could have small drawers on 1 side or a spot to elevate the PC off the carpet.

I have looked at Ikea and looked through lots of Amazon offerings, but it all boils down to the dastardly keyboard tray.

Apparently you're having a hard time finding an apostrophe as well...😛

Purchase IKEA desk + don't install the keyboard tray.

i just bought the cheap long desktop from ikea and 5 legs.. i think the desk was like 7ft long, 5 legs @ 6-7 bucks, total was like 60 a desk..

Have never found a "computer desk" that was worth a damn with all their MDF and/or pressed wood crap. Went to an auction and bought an office desk of solid walnut, no veneers, with normal drawers, etc., for $25. (60" long x 36" deep.) True, it's used but darned substantial and should last me the rest of my life.

We got the wife got a solid oak office desk at another auction.

Just saw this on ikea's webpage

not sure if it's junk or any good, but, might be worth checking out. Looks looks like it has potential.

What the fuck... Ikea's been expanding and that includes work/office (non-home) furniture. Think that's one of them.

Another vote for Galant. Thing is modular, so if you get sick of your desk top, you can just buy a different one. Legs are adjustable and nothing's underneath, so you can buy as many/few drawers as you want.

I have one of those classic pedestal desks also but in walnut, in storage. Weighs a ton, no wheels, always concerned about scratching it. It took several years to understand the difference between an office desk and a computer desk.
