New Depeche Mode Album $3.99 download @ amazon

also $3.99 on lala.com, and $0.52 for the web-only rights. I just listened to it, and it's a pretty good album (btw, on lala.com you can listen to the whole album before you buy it).

D/L for me too right now, thanks.

Was listening to "Enjoy the Silence" just a few days ago, didn't even know they were still making music.

Downloading now. Much obliged. I probably wouldn't have bought it since the last Depeche Mode album I bought was like twenty-years ago, but at this price why not?

I don't want to sound queer or nothin', but I think Depeche Mode is a sweet band

Well, then you might want to avoid using "sweet" to describe the band. 😉

Other words to avoid when describing a band to avoid sounding "queer":

Fabulous
Delicious
Tasty

Hmmm interesting that lala actually let's you QUEUE the entire album and let you listen to it at least for a few songs then it's 30 second songs till you spend 50 cents for the web album. Good value for 3.99 and I'm a DM fan, but for some reason this album is not their best work. I don't know if I would listen to it more then once.

Sorry, This was actually a quote from the movie Orgazmo. Probably should have said so

That's weird - it let me queue and LISTEN to the entire album. It's not supposed to go to "30 second clip" mode unless you try to listen to a track that you've already listened to for free once before.

What's the deal with the Amazon MP3 downloader? Any DRM or other undesireable crap?

No DRM, just an annoying program that you have to install in order to get the MP3s. I'm guessing it's to prevent multiple d/ls.

actually Amazon is the best. 256K bit rates and no DRM... Beats Itunes for about a mile. Itune sucks.
