Wow... I thought they would cut out the coupons for a while after the last blitz at the end of the quarter. Guess they want to move more laptops.
 
do you think they will ever have another $750 off $1499 laptop deal? i know they had one in small business a couple of weeks ago, i know this is off topic, but if anyone knows that would be great, i am sure others would like to know as well.
 
I am sure again in the future they will. This is a good deal though because of the prices right now. Winds up being the same and you can configure them more to your liking.
 
my goal is to get a i6000 with 128mb ati card, uxga screen and 1.6 ghz 533mhz proc for under 900 dollars. right now i can do better but only with the integrated graphics.

Yeah, it's out, it's expired, and it's GONE! Bye bye bye! Thanks to the FWers that bought 10 Pentium M 2200's a piece at $450 AR to sell on eBay it's a dead DEAL for the 40% off Inspiron coupon.
 
Nevermind. Dell just took away some options. Now you can't get the Inspiron 2200 w/ Pentium M 1.6 for $450 after a $150 mail in rebate. You can still get a 9300 base for around $860 and some other's though.
 
is it possible to use this coupon twice? ie, place one order using it, and then place a separate order on the same account using it?

yeah i read the fine print it says 5 systems per customer...double check for yourself though.

You can get those specs with eValue code: 6f898-d80715s combined with the 40% off Inspiron coupon to bring the total down under 900 depending on config. The only caveat is 400MHz bus instead of 533MHz and it comes with Media Center Edition 2005. Found on FW.

Are you sure it works on the 2200? I can't get it to work for me.
 
I found this coupon last night and got the following:
