If it is true, this will easily be the best movie ever created.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to all the young people going through another 'The Crow' phase. I'm guessing the Academy or other award ceremony will posthumously award Ledger something for his performance. It's just the typical Hollywood thing to do.

Just because Jack is one of America's greatest actors, doesn't mean that Heath won't play a better Joker sirjonk, we're talking about one role not a career.

i have yet to see a dark and evil joker in movies or elsewhere (comic books aside).

ledger (based on the previews) portrays the perfect joker to go alongside the much darker faceted-than-usual batman.

You hope for it to be on par with Iron Man? Iron Man is good, but (having seen it two times) I didn't walk out thinking to myself what an awesome fucking movie. I did that when I left Batman Begins.

So uh...I am hoping for it to be a good bit better than Iron Man. This is the only reasonable expectation.

I'm a believer that a sequel is never better than the original, so I'm not sure if this can beat batman begins. however, different rules may apply since the batman series isn't exactly just another sequel

I think you should keep more of an open mind rather than taking an easy route and adhering to ridiculous rules. There are PLENTY of sequels that are widely thought to be better than the original, and many of them are comic book movies... Spiderman 2 > Spiderman 1, X-Men 2 > X-Men 1, Blade 2 > Blade 1 (granted, while most may think the sequel was better than the original, most also think that the 3rd movie to each of those respective trilogies is by far the worst 😛)
