New CS cheat?!?

My friend just told me there's a new cheat that lets people run super fast (I don't see this type of crap, I only play on Neo's server or on public DoD servers)....first of all, is this true? second, how the hell is that possible? third, don't suppose there's any way to defeat it, is there?

I just saw that cheat on TFC 1.5 for the first time today

yah, this is a new cheat.

I dont think its the win2k cheat (although it might be ) I think its something new that will work in all o.s

Valve knows about it...its part of the HL engine has nothing to do w/ dod, tfc, or cs...specifically..

I can confirm that one, saw some1 using it on a demon.co.uk server today, thats linux so it's not another silly win2k exploit.

heh, saw taht cheat today and the little punk was at our spawn a couple of minutes, we would all try and kill him. i even throw a HE which did hit him cuz he then started to go the other. it was fun trying to kill the little punk, and i got him before he killed anyone once with one lucky as headshot. bah the bad thing was that his team would actually help him, the punks, so we be trying to kill him then get kill by them.

Yea, I saw it too this morning, and I think it was speedy gonzales. Don't know why he felt he had to cheat, S@it he had a 63ping as it was. Needless to say, I was really screwed at 630ping. But I think I still managed to put a few into the little bastard

You can find all these cheats on PC Game Hacks.com. Pure evil. Cheaters are the reason I run my own server now - too many lame bass-tards using head shot & super speed hacks.

I have heard there are two ways to do this cheat.

one is in WinME something about having an OC processor

wierd...but oh well....I use 98 heh

And hey, dont spread cheat links damnit...thats the reason why people know these cheats

There is one place, called CS Professionals that have a bunch of cheats, but none of thm work for ANYTHING except for 5.0-6.5 or something like that. That is the easiest to find place, but like I said, none of them work for 1.0.

I want to make life miserable for the rest of the CS players that still exist. So many people cheated when I played CD that I felt like it would be payback for everyone to feel the annoyance when others did the same right back.

Anyhow, PCGameHacks does not have the best cheats. There are other sites with much better ones - with some that actually work!

These cheat pages are really easy to find. I didn't have any issues finding it quickly on Google.
