I'd like to know what setup they are playing it on so we all can have a idea what the game needs to run. I am sure its a SLI/Crossfire setup but would still like to know. Bites its still 6-10 months off.

Dude, farcry was fun, this is like the next step up, as of now it looks like a few steps up. I just remember being able to have fun w/ farcry just by going a different route on the map, hope this holds true. Oh, and i cant wait till i get a chance to clear a path through the forest with some type of massive chaingun. Whats great is a 8800 prob wouldn't be such an expensive card by the time this game comes out.

Yeah one could probably be had for around $250-$300 I'd say. By the time it comes Nvidia will have something faster released I am sure.

It does look kinda dumb. But maybe your not forced to use it? I know alot would like it, but it really doesn't bother me.

Guess they was running out of ideas? I've never seen it in other FSP'ers but then again I haven't played any other than the popular ones(Quake series,HL series,UT,Far Cry,ect,ect).

I like the running. The jumping is a bit ridiculous, but looks fun, just don't use it all the time i'd say. Strength, ehh, but it does go with the suits whole idea, so makes sense. And you probably wouldn't get all skills at once too. Looking to be entertaining. To each his own. I just hope i like the way the weapons "feel" in combination with just running around, sneaking crouching etc.

Very nice. And I like the enhanced jumping ability, contrary to some people here. And the game-play is so smooth ... I wonder if that's DX9 on XP or DX10 on Vista (in the end it's just a detail though, it looks sweet, but it's still months away from release).

Far Cry was highly overrated. This game looks good, but if the game play is the same, screw it.

Looks good, too bad a DX10 card and dual or quad core CPU and two gigs of memory is going to cost me my ass.

You don't have to use the suit to jump around like you're on the moon. You could play like normal the whole time if you really wanted to supposedly. There are (as hinted at previously) times where using your suit can give you access to areas you otherwise wouldn't have access to.

I really enjoyed FarCry (good solid classic FPS gameplay with good AI and a beautiful engine) and I can't wait for Crysis.

It looks great, however the jumping looked plain stupid and the AI was not too smart either. Before he knocked the last guy over, the guy had him right in his sight, and never pulled the trigger :-(

Thats scary.
The first thing I saw was "HI-DEFINITION GAMING".
Which makes me think this is geared towards consoles.
Which makes me think this game is gonna suck real bad.

AFAIK, Crytek has stated repeatedly that they want this to be a great PC Game (they're one of a few developers that still seems dedicated).

Gameplay: Running, jumping, shooting. Nothing amazing.
Physics: The jumping in through the roof was a decent touch.
AI: Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic. The player was never shot at, especially, as mentioned previously, by that last guy who just stood there.

What if he dumbed the difficulty down for the video? I know they did that and turned god mode on in the previous videos.
