new cpu, now I need a mobo!!

now I was wondering what might be the best mobo for it to take full advantage of the cpu's power.

I am on a budget, no more then 135 abouts!!

looking for a good over all mobo and that will be reliable.

Pick up a Core 2 Duo E6300 and a Gigabyte S3 motherboard. I hope you still have budget for DDR2 as well.
E6300 is $190 on newegg but cheaper on forums. I have a couple for sale
Motherboard is $109 on Newegg so it all basically evens out for you with much better performance and overclocking potential.

so, this cpu and mobo setup would be the best in this case scenario??

im not big on gaming but there are times when I do play and this should be fine I take it.

also, will this be just as easy to setup as a amd and asus mobo, which is what I built in the past??

the cheapest C2D outperforms the most expensive AM2. both require the same DDR2, go for DDR2 800. $100 or so for any good mobo.
