so i decided to buy the dfi lan party ut 250gb.

But I've been reading a bunch about the s754 having problems running 2 sticks in DDR400.

So as of right now I have 1 stick of nanya ddr400(512), and one stick of corsair value select(256) which is also DDR 400.

I plan on buying another stick of the Nanya shortly after I get the new mobo/cpu, mainly because I already have a 512 stick of it, rather than getting another 512 stick and ending up wih the same amount of memory I have now if I were to go with the corsair.

My question is, do I really have to worry about my mobo not running with 2 sticks in DDR 400?

If I do run both sticks, and they run at 333mhz, will this lower my clock freq?

What other suggestions do you have for s-754 mobo's?
they need to be available from either
www.mocc.ca
www.tigerdirect.ca
www.ncix.com

Thanks in Advance for the help. And before you say it I did do a forum search before I posted this, However, I was unable to find a specific thread that answered my question

Do you already have the mobo? If not you'd might wanna consider socket 939.

i was thinking about 939, but because the cpu's are more expensive, I wouldn't be able to go with anything higher than a 3200+, and the only 3200+'s that are out on the 939 platform are the new 90nm winchester's, which to my understanding are not supported by the bios that comes stock with the motherboards, they motherboard I was considering if I were to go 939 would be the asus a8v, and I've read countless posts about people getting CPU failure messages because their bios did not recognize the newer CPU's
