New CPU Cooler help

i decided to screw the stock cooler and getting an after market one, the thing is that i was about to buy the hyper 212 evo but it doesnt fit on my case which is a Cosair Spec 01
so im stuck..... is the cosair h50 any good or you guys recommend me something better?

So I'm assuming you didn't make the mistake of ordering the 212-EVO?

I was really surprised, looking at the Corsair Spec-01. It's supposed to be an "ATX" case, and I would never have imagined that a 212-EVO wouldn't fit, but it DOES look "iffy." I can't even be sure that orienting a 212-EVO at right angles to the usual configuration would work.

See -- I have to think that the 212 EVO might fit, as you suggest. He says it doesn't or won't, but I cannot imagine how an ATX case -- cramped as it seems -- wouldn't allow for an "EVO" installation. He might have to split hairs over fan-deployment, but that's a fairly minor problem.
