yeah the latest patch just puts the option into the menu, but i've had it on static lighting for a while through the console

oblivion is on max settings (nothing forced thru the nvidia control panel though, all in game settings) and it runs smooth as butter. it stutters for maybe 2 seconds when entering a new area (or time of day). The only other time it slows is in forested areas (like outside imperial city), and it still gets ~40fps even then.
