I've been helping my friend put together his new computer and now that we have the motherboard in the case it won't turn on. About a week ago i posted for help with the motherboard (an epox 8k7a) that was diagnosed as bad (it couldn't recognize the secondary IDE devices) and sent back to newegg. He just received the new motherboard in the mail, and now that its on the case and the power cables are hooked up, it won't turn on, nothing will, not even any fans. Now when we were originaly putting the computer together a week ago, sometimes the case acted finicky and wouldn't turn on, so we'd have to let it sit for awhile until it would turn on, now it wont turn on and its been 2 days. However, we tried hooking up a power supply from a dell computer to the new computer and it would not turn on either. It may have something to do with the wire coming from the front of the computer on the power button that hooks into the motherboard, but we're really at a loss and he only has a few more days to return the case to newegg if it needs to be replaced, what should we do?
