i built a new P4 system. the mobo is a p4t-e. i think the problem is that i don't have the c-rimms. i just have two sticks of 256 MB of PC-800. i forgot to order the c-rimms. i also scratched the very edge of my mobo on accident. i hope that is not the problem. thanks. 🙂😉

The CRIMMs are definitely the problem. RDRAM system require termination, just like SCSI does. Therefore, each memory slot unused MUST have a CRIMM installed. Scratching your mainboard may also lead to problems, as you may have damaged the traces, which can lead to problems in sending electrical signals and data.
