Hey I Just built my computer with the following Specs, and it won't pass POST. I installed an LCD Poster, to tell me what's wrong. It says that there is an int ROM hardware error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Begin by confirming that you have the ATX12V power plug connected to its dedicated socket. In this picture :camera:, that socket is near the lower-left corner of the picture, just above the block that has the round PS/2 keyboard/mouse ports. The ATX12V plug has two yellow wires and two black wires.

To eliminate some variables, you could try removing the motherboard from the case, laying it on a sheet of cardboard, and bench-testing it with only the absolute essential items: the video card (with its auxiliary power cable hooked up, of course), one stick of RAM, the CPU and its heatsink/fan unit, and your good power supply. No mouse, keyboard, drives, extra cards, or other wiring.

Is the 8800GT a known-working card, by the way? That eliminates one variable, if it is.

I haven't tried testing every component yet, but my LCD poster tells me which ones pass the POST. I have tested the video card as well, and it works on other computers.
