3. The first window in the fdisk will be for Fat32 support. If you answer [Y] (default) it will then be Fat32. I would suggest that you use Fat32.
4. You will then have to Set your partitions... If you want to know how to do that I will tell you ... PM me.
5. After your partitions are done and you have rebooted (with the bootdisk) you will then have to format your partitions.
6. After the format then you can load your OS.
***Trick I like to use ***
I usually partition my drive in half. C: and D:
I then format them as above.
I make a directory on D: by going md win98. Now you will have a directory called win98 on the D drive.
Copy the contents of the Win98 directory on the CD into the Win98 directory on the D: drive.
When they are finished goto D:\win98
type setup.
This will allow win98 to load without prompting you for the cd when it is trying to load you hardware. If it does ever ask for the win98 cd then just type in D:\win98
I have to do it this way because I have a SCSI card and my CDroms are SCSI. Win98 does not reload the drivers after it restarts befor it starts detecting the PnP hardware. It will find the SCSI card but wants the CD... Can't read the CD because it did not load the SCSI card... CATCH 22.
