New Computer Purchase

Hi, I am planning on buying a new desktop computer with the following specs:

Intel i7 930
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
6GB Corsair DDR3
1TB Hard Drive
Antec 902
Corsair 750W PS

Is $400 a good price for this? There is no video card included but I figure I can spend around $100 or so on one.

I've been out of the loop for years and years (my last system was a Q6600). Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For $400 it doesn't look that bad. Depends what you plan on doing with it.. if it's for gaming $100 for a Gfx Card probably won't be enough.

Sorry if I violated any rules. I thought price checks were components that I was personally selling or looking to sell. Didn't know that buying a system and asking for opinions on the price was necessarily a price check.

Anywho, I ended up buying the system. Now to find a video card!

As we're no longer talking about a "negotiable price", perhaps the thread can be put to good use on the video card angle? (Without bothering the guys in VC&G 😉 ).

As asked above, what uses do you intend for the machine & video card? And what monitor resolution will it need to handle?
