I'm putting together a new computer for my father-type for mostly business uses, but hopefully some games when I come home from school 🙂

MSI nforce mobo $187

tbird 900 $64

maxtor (no need to debate the relative qualities of WD/Maxtor/IBM HDs please) 30 gb 7200 rpm ata100 hd, $87

lite-on 16x10x40 cd-r $70

case with 300 watt power supply--elsewhere

1x256 mb pc2100 ddr, crucial--will the dual channel ram setup work with just one stick??
