New Computer Build

I'm going to be building a new computer for my brother in the next couple of weeks, but I haven't built a computer since 2003 and haven't followed hardware since.

Here is what he was thinking in the $1000-$1200 range...

I think that covers everything. He wants Vista, but I'll probably tell him to stick with XP for now. He'd like to OC to 3ghz.

Is there anything you'd change? All suggestions appreciated...

Yeah, definitely get a better power supply. Not necessarily more powerful, watts-wise, just better, quality-wise. Think along these lines. That's too nice of a system to be powering with a cheapo power supply.

Will do. Didn't know it was cheap, but I don't recall the brand from the last time I built a computer. I've always used Antec, maybe I'll stick with them.

Any more suggestions?
