I recently just built a computer and I dont know if its par with what Im suppose to have.

AMD 64 3000+ Venice
DFI S939 Ultra-D
2x512MB Corsair Value CAS 2.5
eVGA 6600GT
OCZ Modstream 450 Watt
Plextor 716-SA
LiteOn DVD-ROM
Logitech X530
Aerocool JetEngine
Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo

Well I've ran some bench marks and got a 3DMark05 score of 3520. I got a 37sec SuperPi for the 1M. The only thing I overclocked was the CPU and I got it up to 2250mhz. I havent primed it yet, but it "seems" stable. Need to do it soon. The memory is at 2.5-3-7-3 and Im running a memory divider at 5/6 and its overclocked slighty to 205mhz. The voltage is up to 2.7 on the memory because the DFI boarded need it and stock voltage for the CPU.

How does it look guys?

System looks fairly good al'round.

-Dunno 'bout the HSF. Never used an Aerocool. Im still on stock.
-Video Card Manufacturers all make basically the same thing.
-I would probably have gone with Logitech for a mouse though.
-I got a DVD-ROM and DVD burner. It means that your using a $30 reader to read all your discs, instead of your $100 burner. So your burner will survive longer.

6600GT is a great card for it's price. Better value than anything else out there.

If your gonna be overclocking, then the 3200+ isn't much better than the 3000+. Good choice going with the Venice.

Haha... Sorry about the misinformation. The Aerocool is only the case. It was the cheapest case that I could find with a 120mm exhaust and intake. It was $54 and the quality of it is surprisingly very good. The heatsink and fan is stock. I probably won't upgrade until I go watercooling. Either a Corsair (rebadged Swiftech) or a Swiftech kit.

I got the video card for $147 after rebate and it came with a 2 year warranty. Couldnt beat that price and I heard all video card companies perform about the same anyway. I couldn't justify another $60 for a leadtek, which i really wanted, but dont need because I hardly game. I just wanted that "I can if i want to" ability.

As for the keyboard and mouse, $30 for a wireless, i couldnt complain. Ill end up getting a logitech probably since most MS stuff blows.

And yup, Thanks ROd. I dont want my 170 plextor wearing out because of just media reading. I got the Liteon to do that. $24 I can afford. not another plextor drive.

Don't knock Microsoft hardware..I have had a whole bunch of Microsoft peripherals, networking equipment, the whole lot, and never once have I been disappointed. You can have my natural keyboard when you pry it from my cold dead hands. And yes, I think I mooched that line from a review, though I don't remember which one or where it was from...damn.

looks decent to me. But I prefer Asus DVD-ROM, newegg has OEM version, pretty quiet and solid. It runs at dma-5 on my asus ide driver, cannot believe it!
