I have much experience working with computers and building them has always been a piece of cake, but i never had a problem like this. I"m currently working on my cousin's computer his original parts died in july cause a bad PSU killed almost his entire system, cpu mobo, ram, and psu of course. So i advised him to buy these parts so i can do it.
MSI Nforce 2 k7n2 delta
512 muskin ddr pc3200
mobile barton 2500+
thermaltake trupower 420watt psu
and already owns a 9700 pro
audigy
maxtor hdd
so i have all the components installed and i start to reinstall windows, it restarts. I try again. restarts. and continues. so then i decide to install windows on his hdd on a different comp. works on different comp but doesnt startup on his, as soon as windows xp logo appears it crashes and restarts. i have already updated the mobo BIOS, i'm thinking that the ram is the culprit. any thoughts?
