Hey I am looking to put together a new computer and It would be great if I could get some advice. What I have so far is

Asus A8N SLI Deluxe nVidia Socket 939 Motherboard

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Processor

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

Aerocool JetMaster JR-SS Silver ATX Mid-Tower Case

MSI 6800 GT 256MB

Seagate 120GB 7200rpm SATA-150

Ultra X-Connect 500-Watt Modular Power Supply

Geil Dual Channel 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory

Any suggestions on anything I should change or get would be lots of help please

If you get that Ultra X-connect, don't ask for my help again. :p
Get something better, like an Antec or even an OCZ in this case.
I suggest the Antec TP2.0 EPS12V PSU.

I'm also going to try and convince you to get the MSI K8N Neo4 SLI instead of that Asus. If you do, you won't need that sound card unless you're an audiophile. The onboard Soundblaster Live! (On the MSI) is good enough for most people.

I'm no expert at this, but when I posted my setup, several people said I shouldn't get the "Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS" unless I am heavily into audio editting, or have some really kick-arse sound system.

Aside from that, I've never heard of "Geil" RAM or Ultra PSU before... I would think most people on here would suggest to get a PSU and RAM from reliable companies.

Just my .02

Yes I have been hearing some bad things about that PSU so it looks like I will be changing it. Is the MSI Motherboard you mentioned better than the Asus or is it just for the sound card because if that is the case I might stick with what I have. Also will I notice much of a differance if I go with faster memory?
