In a few days, I am updating my main computer. I am going to pout a new video card, hard drive , and a new network card. My main question is when a replace my hard drive do I have to get a new Licensed version of windows or could I use the operating system I have know.

Either you have to get a licensed copy or if you have a recovery cd that has windows xp and all of your drivers on it then you could use that...from HP i had to order that online for $16 since mine didnt come with it but it worked great...besides the fact that it took seriously 6 hours to reinstall heh
