New company Name... any idea's?

I am starting a new company... I need a catchy name... It is a IT company. I am going to be doing all sorts of things. Mainly building new PC's and servers for small to medium business users and Uni Students, but I will also be providing on site servicing and upgrades. I am Australian... so something with a bit of wit about it would be good. Nothing silly though.

Any Ideas? Cheers guys!

Flancrest Enterprises
HyperCompuGlobalMegaNet

Actually it's CompuGlobalHyperMegaNet 🙂

Kangaroo-tech... This is my favorite so far... Leaps and bounds ahead of the competition! LOL

Oh by the way... Koala is how you spell it. 😉

rootech? taken
austech? .com taken, others available
austensive? acording to register.com, available
austensible? acording to register.com, available

I could go on, lol....

Condoman is the name of a cartoon character here... I can't use that one... I like the Global part of the name though... sounds very good.

Hard to put Global into just any name though.

go to register.com and you can enter any name you want to. It will tell you if it is taken, and if it is, when the name expires. I like my name, lehmansterms.com (as in laymans terms) LMAO, all those years of abuse as "do you lay men" in grammer school paid off.

Damn am I buzzed right now. Should have laid off the guiness after the first playoff game. 😕

I could call it the "Your too stupid let me do it, computer company"... that would cover almost all of the clients I will deal with. LOL

Nahh... i think I would loose a few clients if I used that one....

HOLD THE BOAT!!!

I have one for you. What is Australia known for besides the term "put another shrimp on the barbi"?

Crocodile Dundee. I am sure that he is not representative of your country, but he is well known from the movies. His most famous line... "That's not a knife".

So why not "thatsnotasite.com" etc. Just think of something associated with something that is really well known, cliche or not, as long as it rings a bell. That is the goal in advertising, remind or engrain something with a person that they wont forget.

Take this for example "I'll be back" remember that phrase?? That is what you are looking for. Oh yea, dont use a name that already is used as .com, people will type your name with the .com extension and bye-bye. The ".com" names are the only way to go, dont settle for a .net, .org., or any of the others.

Websites are always remembered as ".com's".

Yeah I can see your point. I don't want a name that is too ong though... Someting simple... Rootech is a good one.... Sounds a bit like rooted though... and that is Aussie slang for F*cked... so I wouldn't want to be know as the F*cked computer company!

rooted eh? 😀

Yeah... rooted... next time you meet an Australian chick... ask her for a root, see how you go! LOL 😉

You just never know! You might get one!
