I?m building a new computer from top to bottom?I will be using it for gaming music movies and basic web surfing documents that kind of stuff? But I still have a few questions before I start buying.
I have a 40GB Hard Drive in my computer right now? That I have yet to use up and if I ever need more storage I can just get another Hard Drive in the future?Do you think I should get another Hard Drive now or wait???
The prices on the eVGA 6800 Ultras are at $499.99?Should I go with that over the BFG 6800 GT for $449.99???

That looks like a killer system.
Not a fan of the Raptor's price, I'd personally just get a bigger 7200 RPM Drive for less money. Other than that, I like everything. :)

I have a friend that just built a new computer...He went with a raptor and I'm amazed by the speed.

A few recommendations: I would recommend going for a 939 socket since a 754 DOES NOT support dual channel memory. Also, as a gamer, I highly recommend you DO NOT get the MX1000. Yes the mouse might be accurate and what not, BUT there exists a HUGE flaw with this mouse. When you lift the mouse off the mousepad as done many times when gaming, the laser shuts off momentarily as a security mechanism. This will cause you to skip/jump for .5 second and can be the difference between life and death.

Here is a demonstration between the MX700 and MX1000

MX700 - http://3dgpu.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=77
MX1000 - http://3dgpu.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=76

You can read more about it on the Gotfrag forums.

I say you go for the MX510 or wait for a corded/improved version of the MX1000. Just my 2 cents.
