I'd be more concerned about getting the coffee stains out of your Nalgene. Don't plan on using that to drink water anymore :p.

Why not use a thermos or travel mug that's actually designed to keep coffee hot?

I grind my own beans, and I put a rounded 1/4 cup scoop in to make 16oz.

It's cold and I wanted something warm to drink. I don't turn the heat on in my apartment. I tried green tea, but the flavor's not strong enough for me. I tried coffee with the french vanilla stuff and I liked it, but only when it's weak. It definitely keeps me more attentive at school too, which is great. Last semester I didn't drink coffee and during the middle of the day I would always get really tired and kinda crash.

Oh man I'm so tired, I read: "Nude coffee drinker. Is this hot?" and got all excited. :(

The Nalgene bottle is strange, not the amount of coffee. Maybe they assume the Nalgene was originally full. Also, why'd you start drinking coffee? You should start drinking tea instead. It's good for you.

EDIT: Oh I see you tried green tea. I don't like green tea much either. I like the plain old Lipton stuff though. I use one bag for one small cup of it so for 20 oz. you'd need a couple at least...

EDIT2: And don't add sugar. It'll ruin the taste (in my opinion).

I drink 2-3 pots every day. I probably don't drink it as strong as most people here, (3 rounded 1/8 cup scoops/8 cups or 4-1/2 mugs) but it's the way I like it, so that's how I make it. Occasionally, if I really need a boost, I'll make it with 4 heaping scoops, then it's like rocket fuel.

I don't even drink it anymore, nowadays I got a coffee IV hooked up.

I tried to get one of those but my doctor refused...he told me I was drinking too much coffee as it was. I asked for liquid caffeine instead...he refused that as well...

Actually, you're supposed to drink something like 8 glasses of water a day. You're probably only drinking 1-2 glasses.

If you're a regular drinker of Coke and Pepsi, that amount is probably doing nothing. I drink about 2 cans a day so an additional "large" cup of cofee (about the size of a pop can) barely "stimulates" me.

Think I remember a study that said you first have to feed the "addiction"/caffeine-demand of your body before you can get high.

20 ounces is not a lot, but carrying coffee around in a nalgene probably looks weird to people.

That is subjective. 20oz will effect people differently. I, for one, cannot drink that much coffee in a day without negative side effects.

That being said, sounds like fuzzybaby is making it taste like brown water :p

20 oz will affect people differently, but it's still only equivalent to a weak "large" coffee at any coffee house.
