Just saw the gameplay on G4. It looks very impressive - especially after the fact the gameplay they were showing was coming off the 360. Cant wait for this to come out!

MOH Airborne looks really good as well. A lot better than I expected. It's on par with COD4 IMO.

Hey, I never claimed to know anything about history I was just basing it on the previous games. It definitely isn't modern. When is it?

Errr...."near future" generally means a couple of years from now with the same level of technology as today for the most part.

You need to stop watching Star Trek and look outside...or at least flip on CNN. They are using the same guns you see every day on news footage of troops around the globe.

Never seen a single episode of Star Trek, but thanks for the compliment all the same.

I just watched it again, and I still think it looks old, but it's just me apparently.

When I first saw a COD4 clip, I first thought it was WWII. In fact, the gun being used reminded me of a BAR. Then I noticed it wasn't really kicking back like mad, and then a helicopter flew by. I thought I was going crazy. Then i noticed the title of the video stream. oops.
It was a pre e3 clip, btw.
