White guy on money comment by the fucker comes to mind.

Provide a link where Obama was playing the race card. I personally have never seen it, but then again I don't look at every single sound bit taken out of context to support my hatred of someone.

From that you get

"They're counting on young people staying home and union members staying home and black folks staying home," President Obama said at a rally in Philadelphia."

And then you see polls like:

overwhelming non-Whites approve: 78% approve vs 20% disapprove

And that's playing the race card? If it was a woman and she had an overwhelming support from female voters and she said the other side is hoping women stay home and not vote, is that playing the woman card?

The point remains.

He brought race into it. I don't understand why he would do that. Race has NOTHING to do with it.

He is a racist and I have no tolerance for it.

He didn't bring race into it. He brought up a demographic that he had overwhelming support with, much like the other two he listed....

Well he is half white, moving on. If those numbers hold next year, he is a stone mortal lock to win a second term. He only got 43% of the white vote in 2008. So if he holds 45% approval and he can capture 40% again he will win easily. But 20 months is a long time in politics.

Assuming he and the speechwriters have worked up a compelling script for tonight, I expect to see a bump in his numbers: +3-5pts.

wtf? I'm a pretty moderate if not liberal independent, and currently I'm probably somewhere in between indifferent and approval of Obama, I just think polls like this are stupid and a waste of time to drool over regardless of what side you're on, so not sure how that makes me a partisan hack.

Then why would you waste your time posting in this thread? It's no mystery, from the title, what this thread is about...
