new cingular sony ericsson phone

I just got a new sony ericsson z520a and there are a bunch of lame ringtones that i would like to delete, but when i try to, they say Protected File - cannot be deleted. anyone know a way around this, or is there not one? i've tried using My Phone Explorer to delete it through my computer, but i get the same error

those files dont even take up much space.

nice phone. I really like the SE interface. Be careful with the z520, it is a bit delicate. I broke the screen on mine
