It's time for me to replace my skillet. I've had the same set of Calphalon Teflon skillets for years. They've started losing their nonstick properties. I always use oil with them.

I've got stainless, but I try to use less oil when cooking eggs, etc... Nonstick is just easier for eggs/quesadillas/grilled cheese/pancakes, etc...

QFT, and replace those cabinet doors...it's like we are living in the 80's again.

I don't know why people buy designer cookware with a crappy kitchen.
Lol what do you think of these awesome green doors!

Two bottles of A1 steak sauce? :(

Hey, there are different types.

I usually just use Pickapeppa, out at the moment.

Are three actually.

Back the original subject, I'm sure anyone will do what they feel like, and I do not know about the longevity of the pans yet, but everything cooks well and glides out of them.

The kitchen is a bit dated, but it's clean and not everything is old.

*shrug*

Probably going to repaint the cabinets and upgrade some handles etc in near future.

Serious question for the mods: Does this douchebag take a giant steaming shit in EVERY thread on ATOT?

Why do you do so in my threads?

It's not every thread.

Also what have you contributed ever here?

Seriously, you'll ask for sympathy one week, and actually get it.

Then a week or two later you'll go back to crapping in threads again.

There is something mentally twisted to some degree there, when you expect people to automatically treat you the way you do others.

Bro, about every thread of mine you are in crapping. Don't be a hypocrite.

What sympathy have I asked for? The only thing close was posting my mom passed away, which wasn't really about sympathy...I post most of my odd/special events here.

Most just get butt hurt that I know too much about too many things and/or that I actually get out and about and do things in my life.

I do not believe I've been in any thread you've made in a long time.

I'm not continuing atm.

I haven't seen a built in microwave since the 80's /shrug

I know people have them ive seen them in pictures but all houses ive lived in /friends houses have counter ones

all things being equal, I'd probably prefer a countertop microwave... more options to easily swap it out or go bigger/smaller in the future (or get rid of it entirely).

in my dream kitchen, I'd probably want the smallest microwave I can get. all I really use it for is basically stuff like reheating a cup of coffee or melting butter without dirtying up a whole pot.

The reality is 'dream kitchens' usually never have any microwave shown.

The built ins are the same width as the range and can supply the exhaust vent needed.

I'll agree with this one, is a newer replacement microwave there, and works well for exhaust venting.

Yes, I've had them. They work pretty decently, although they scratch easily & the white finish can be hard to maintain, especially if you don't clean them right away. I gave up & went back to Teflon pans...we just buy a new $57 set every year: (which is usually about when they are so scratched up they quit being frictionless...not everyone in my family is onboard with using plastic utensils to cook lol)

I mostly just use cast iron whenever I can though. Everything comes out great in my cast iron gear

We use serrated steak knives and dinner knives in my house... I heard on TV that it's safer to use a sharp knife so the cut is clean -- not when your serrated knives are so blunt they can barely cut through cheese!

When a serrated knife is that dull it's time to be discarded.

A sharp knife is the safer knife...serrated is a different ballgame.

Yeah, I picked that up as a 7" general purpose, all in one chefs knife.

We have serrated ones similar to Outback Steakhouse type we use for eating ourselves.

Mirror finish...I need to get one of these so I can be mirrin' myself in the kitchen....oh wait. I don't have to cook.
