Hello Folks,
My 2 yr. contract is up this June 12 on my NOTE, yes, it is the original NOTE, anyway, I would like your guys/gals input on helping to decide on which Android cell to get.

Since I am retired now I game very little on my cell as I do use it for texting and a lot of Facebook, I am a gamer from way back, a PC gamer and I also have a few tablets that I use too.

What my interests are in my upgrade would be a real nice camera first and then everything else is secondary, I figure with all of the cells out now that they must be blazing fast compared to my NOTE ;-)

I do want to keep it in the Android family as I really like that OS very much. Today I stopped by a AT&T shop and looked at a few cells but they all looked kinda beat up but what caught my eye was how good looking the HTC One M8 was.

I also thought the Sammy Galaxy S5 was nice but so many people had abused it that it kept shutting off and that was the one I was really wanting to check out.

What caught me by surprise was that the NOTE 3 was $100.oo more then the Galaxy S5 which is a good thing if I choose the Galaxy S5. So I hope everyone is having a great 3 day weekend and thanks for your time.

If you like the big screen and stylus of the note, may wait a couple of months after your due date for the Note 4. You'll likely be able to get the Note 3 free on contract at that point.

I would add that, if the camera is most important to you, you should at least consider a Nokia Windows Phone. A successor to the Lumia 1020 should hopefully be out soon.

Props to you for holding onto your phone for 2 years.

I don't know how you guys do it. Or why.

I plan to keep my Moto-G for many years. It does what needs doing cheap on Republic Wireless for only $10 a month. I've got unlimited talk, text and pictures. Unlimited 3G data is $15 more ($25 a month total). The special hybrid phone works anywhere there is Sprint service or WiFi.

Edit: Actually Republic has free domestic roaming so anywhere there is a cell signal or a WiFi signal.

Well sure, if you buy straight from AT&T... but why do that? Try Amazon or Costco.

Also, you might also consider the LG G3 that comes out this week. No pen, but sort of in between size and excellent specs.

It's being announced probably tomorrow, the 27th at a multi city event hosted by LG. Supposed to be released by the end of June to all the major carriers.

I'm on the M8 right now and it's easily the best phone I've ever owned or used. If you play with it for a few minutes and are okay with Sense (some people don't like it) I wouldn't hesitate to get it. The Note line does have the stylus/pen market locked up, though, so if you really need one I would get the Note.
