So I just signed up with Verizon and got the Motorola W755 free. It seems like a good phones and has been getting good reviews. However, it sounded horrible to me. When I called my parents (T-mobile, across the country), their voices sounds a bit shaky and slightly garbled (definitely a "digital" sounding problem). I called my friend (who also has Verizon) that lives 3 miles away and it sounded bad too. We live in the suburbs so the coverage is pretty good.
I exchanged the phone for another and am having the same problems. Why on earth is this going on? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Next I'll try a Samsung phone. If that doesn't work, then I guess I'm switching to ATT or something.
