New Card Overheating?

I just picked up an MSI 9800Pro to use for a few months until the infamous next gen cards come out in force. It works fine for normal apps and will even run 3DMark2001/2003 just great, but when I try gaming it shuts the game down after 5 minutes and goes to my desktop. My system temps also go up 5-8 degrees. Any ideas what is wrong?

May not be your videocard.

Run your game again on stock speed cpu 3.2 and tell us what happens.

Will do. I think I'll try running Prime95 @3.52 and see how long it lasts.
