The base MSRP on the Astra is $17K w/o options. What did you get (if anything) for your trade-in or did they pay it off for you. FWIW I would have gone with a Civic for that price. I bought my wife a 2007 Civic LX 18 months ago for pennies more and it may be worth more now then it was then.

They dont have a ton of incentives on these right now, but for the segment its in i like to looks the best. My grand am was worth nothing, 3500 bucks. I could have tried to sell it myself but in my location there is no way i would have been able to get out of it. Best to let the deal inherit the problem.
