I'm looking to get a new car stereo, and have narrowed it down to two Dual receivers. I have great success with Dual:

Dual with Bluetooth

Dual with HD Radio

Compared

I'm not a big audiophile: I mixed it around with some CD and radio (music and talk). BT seems like a nice choice since i don't have to always bring my ear piece with me, but I'm wondering if the head unit suffers from the same problem of disconnecting if you don't use it after awhile.

I've never had HD radio; I've heard it not all that great and takes awhile to lock onto the signal.

Thoughts?

HD radio isn't available everywhere. Bluetooth in the car is very nice. I vote BT.

I finished installing the Pioneer AVIC F700BT in the Supra last week. Other than a slow boot time, I absolutely love it, especially for the BT feature.

I'm trying to keep costs pretty low, so the BT adapter is another $50. For that price I'll just keep using my earpiece.
