Doubt anyone remembers, but about 5 months ago, I posted that my new 2002 Toyota Camry of 2 weeks got keyed...5 months later (today), it got keyed again...

At least I was too cheap to fix the damage of the first keying, cuz this 2nd one was on the same door....

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what do you do that is causing this? Do you park improperly, have enemies, or live in a bad area?

My mother got her 1 month old MINI keyed on the hood.

She was at the gym and parked well away from everyone else....people are such a$$holes.

parking way off from everyone is a sure way to get keyed. Try to stay a few spots back, but not too many.

Nope, I dont' piss anyone off, I dont' park illegally, I don't park in someone else's spot. No ememies (that I know of). First time, I lived in Wash DC, but now I live in the 'burbs of N. VA. But this time, I'm at a client site, and the place I stay it is a little sketchy.

I'm guessing they saw previous key marks and just thought "what the heck? i'll add more"

better yet, electrify the car's body when you set the alarm. Anyone who puts metal to it starts life all over as a vegetable.

That's not f**king cool. Why do people do that? There is a guy at my building who just bought a new lincoln or at least new to him. He babies this thing and washes it at least once a day. I have no doubt he'd actually kill somebody if they keyed his car.

if you can setup a video camera although that may not be possible based on where your car is parked.

I have a friend whose 911 convertible was keyed at the grocery store. The guy who keyed it got all three side panels (including the door). It was $2000 a panel to repaint. A 10 second act cost my friend $6000Can to fix. :|

That sucks. I just had my entire car painted. Looks brand new now. If I caught someone doing that, I think I'd lose it.

That is screwed up, my car got keyed, that was after someone hit it with a baseball bat, a few weeks ago I found out who it was, they won't be fsckin with anyones car anytime soon.

Why the heck would anyone key a Camry unless they had it out for you, or you did something stupid parking/driving? I mean, Camry's are nice cars and all, but they're by no means flashy or exotic, and shouldn't attract negative attention like that. Whoever did it must really be an ass.
