New car in the driveway - 2007 Nissan Versa

2007 Nissan Versa

Dayum, this is alot of car for the money. Outside of the Honda Fit, I can't think of any other car that packs this many features, and QUALITY a 14K. The dash, and the whole interior is phenominal. The engine is pretty quiet, and very refined - smooth all the way to redline. the shifter is vauge, and the clutch offers no feedback - but outside of that, I'm amazed by it.

My boyfriend had to fight with the dealer just to get MSRP, because the dealer had a 2K markup over it, but a few hours of negotiations fixed that.

I'm jealous that the Fit and Versa weren't available two years ago, I would be driving one instead of my xB.

I would love to have a Versa, but I can't afford a new car right now. 🙁

However my current Nissan product is close to reaching its 15th birthday and shows no real signs of slowing down. 🙂

HOT! I'm really glad that hot hatches are catching on in the US

this is by no means a hot hatch at all. the GTI is a hot hatch. the civic Si is a hot hatch.

this is an econobox. but it's not that bad of an econobox. topgear reviewed it about 2 years ago? they were made in UK and have QC issues. i hope this one is fine.

Those are possibly two of the ugliest cars I've ever seen.

EDIT: The Versa isn't too bad, but the xB is hideous.

That is exactly what I said to myself when I saw the picture

QFT!!

...and the fact that I have a 2006 GTI. 🙂

Best interior space of all of the 'new' hatches (Fit/Yaris) and more HP. I think the Honda keeps up with it though but to me the interior is a real nice feature. I'm unloading my G35 due to gas prices and I think I'm going to get a Versa or a new Sentra. Can't decide. 😛

I'm thinking of getting this car to replace my Nissan Sentra. I want to get it with the bluetooh capability. Its also got a Line-in jack so you can hook up your iPod.

Whats the best way to get a test drive and not get suckered in... I have to wait till January if I want to buy it.
