New Camera Battery?

I just ordered a new camera Olympus E-420 and I'm wondering if I should get a backup battery. The Olympus brand battery costs $45 but I see lots of other brand batteries that say will work as a replacement for much less money. Are their any third party battery makers that you guys would recommend?

Because its battery is rather small for a DSLR, the E-420 will last for around 400-500 shots in mixed use. If you want to get a second battery, I recommend Lenmar.

Lenmar is a pretty big company that makes batteries for laptops and lots of other devices, and I've personally used their replacement batteries in my Panasonic FZ8, my Canon 40D, and my current Canon 5D. I could not tell the difference between the OEM batteries and the third-party Lenmar battery, so its performance is definitely pretty good.

Only $15 for your Olympus one: http://www.amazon.com/Lenmar-DLOS1-D.../dp/B000PJ1YAG
