New Business Computer

Good Morning!

My small business needs to upgrade our computers. Most of our work is done in the cloud, but MS office suite is also used.

I would like a quick processor (I'm partial to AMD, but not important). I believe ram is important to maintain speed. Future-proofing is important as well.

My questions are: What is the minimum processor that I could buy to get above average performance? Which processor would give me the most bang for the buck? Any suggestions on a pre-built system? What about SystemMax by tigerdirect?

Thanks for your advice.

Jason!

" Most of our work is done in the cloud..."

Sorry for being a bit obtuse, but what exactly does that mean? Your office is in an airplane? A blimp? On a mountaintop?

Or, is this the result of some computer translation from a different language?

Never heard of a "cloud-based application." Could that mean wireless?

After carefully reading and re-reading your double post, I strongly suggest you find a LOCAL vendor of computers and work with them.

OK - apparently it is a little used metaphor for the Internet.
